Matthew & Kelly Rivera - Owners "We strive to meet the expectations of the families we serve". A licensed funeral director, Matthew has 25 years experience in all aspects of the funeral home operation. He graduated president of his class with perfect attendance from The Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, a fully accredited mortuary college. He successfully passed his examinations administered by The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards, and is the past president of The New Mexico Funeral Service Association. He's proud to bring these credentials and unique level of educational experience to the Espanola Valley. Kelly is also a licensed funeral service professional and has been in funeral service for over 9 years. She assists in running the family mortuary in adminstration & directing and public relations. Matthew and Kelly are ready to answer your questions regarding formal funeral services or more simple options. We understand legal requirements and will help guide you with suggestions that are practical and centered around your budget. |

Our facility in Espanola is spacious and comfortable, the nicest of the 3 funeral homes owned by the Rivera family. The facility has been updated and is handicap accessible from the front of the building, and also via the middle driveway entrance. Please let a staff member know if any special assistance is needed. Our two chapels include antique stained glass windows dating back to the 1920 era, and were in place at the former "Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church" in Pojoaque. We provide a neutral, quiet and elegant setting where people from all denominations and beliefs can feel at peace. We are able to comfortably accomodate many families at the same time while still providing privacy in either of our two elegant chapels or seperate state rooms. And because we are locally owned & operated we're commited to providing personalized service.
NEW ACQUISITIONS IN SANTA FE
The Rivera Family has completed our independent acquisition of Santa Fe Funeral Options & Memorial Gardens Cemetery, and La Paloma Funeral Home (all in Santa Fe). We've since closed the doors of La Paloma Funeral Home to allow for the planning of our new funeral home facility on the grounds of Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Our Santa Fe location is that communities ONLY family owned/family operated funeral home. HOURS OF OPERATIONFor emergencies, our staff is available 24 hours a day throughout the year. Our business office is open Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, weekend & holiday hours by appointment and as determined when services are scheduled. To respect the families that we serve, we help maintaine reverence in our mortuary by not allowing soliciting for advertising or donations at our company, and ask that visitors refrain from bringing outside food and/or beverages into the mortuary. |
